Device Information
Your device is ready to install the authorized firmware.
Trial runs only while this page stays active. Switching tabs or closing the page stops the online heartbeat and the device will lock.
Trial will flash the ... firmware to your device.
1. Wiring Diagram
Connect the ESP32 to your computer via USB. Connect the corresponding GPIO pins to physical buttons and status LEDs (if applicable).
2. Camera Pairing
On your Blackmagic Design camera, navigate to Setup → Bluetooth → On to allow automatic discovery and pairing over BLE.
3. Physical Control
Use the physical buttons or send test commands via the SERIAL CONSOLE below to control focus, iris, and trigger recording.
> System active.
ADVANCED TOOLS
Right now, this device only works because your browser tab is open.
Trial mode needs a live connection back to this page. Close the tab, lose signal, or switch away for too long, and your device locks β mid-shoot, if that's when it happens. A license key removes that dependency completely: a one-time signed certificate gets written directly to your device, and it runs 100% offline, forever. No tab. No Wi-Fi. No Lab.
- β Permanent offline activation β no heartbeat, no browser tab, ever again
- β One signed key, valid for the life of the device
- β Priority access to new firmware as Phase 2 ships
- Browser: Chrome or Edge on desktop
- Cable: USB data cable (not charge-only)
- Close tools: Arduino IDE / PlatformIO / other serial monitors
- Driver: CP2102/CH340
